Here is how it works – you will need to submit your article to us and we will put your article in the queue to be posted on our blog. We will post one new article every Tuesday and Friday, with the next article in the queue. The main benefit for you in this is to drive traffic to your website, hopefully resulting in qualified prospects for your business. Again, there is no catch. You spend the time to write a quality article, we post, publish, and publicize your business for you at no cost.
So, why am I doing this? What's in it for me? Well, I do get a benefit from this too. It is basically this – by you writing a quality blog post for our site about your business, you are helping to create the content for our site. That means we get more traffic, better search engine rankings, etc. – which also comes back to benefit you as these this site continues to grow.
Here are the guidelines for submitting your article. These guidelines must be met or we will have to return your article for revisions, or it will be rejected:
- The article you write must be between 200 – 400 words. No more. No less.
- You may have 1 link to your website if your article is 200-300 words. You may have 2 links to your website if your article is 300-400 words.
- No hype. Period. We try an run a "no-hype" zone. That is not to say you cannot express passion in your article, but no outlandish claims, and general hype.
- You may submit one photo, which will be posted on our server. You are responsible for making sure the photo is compliant with your company. It could be a photo of yourself, a product, or something that compliments your article. We may need to resize your photo to fit the website.
- Please do your best to use good grammar and accurate spelling.
- Be creative and compliant. Tell a story; tell your story; give company news; tell why you are with this company; whatever you want to say. But, you are responsible to make sure the information you are giving is accurate and compliant with your company.
- If you are in more than one business, you will need to submit a different article for each business.
That is all. Pretty cool, huh?!?! You let us promote this website, and over time, you get traffic to your site… kind of a no-cost way to generate some of your own leads. Realistically, it may not produce a "flood of traffic," but you can say it is one more "line in the water" as you fish for prospects.
